We built whattoupgrade.com because figuring out why your PC is slow shouldn't require a degree in computer engineering. There are thousands of components out there, and marketing jargon makes it hard to know if you need a new $800 GPU or just $50 worth of RAM.

Our tool uses an approximate hardware catalog and local rules to suggest what to investigate. We do not run benchmarks on your PC or use an AI model. Read our methodology to understand the limits.
